Playing hookie

Is that how you spell hookie/hooky??? Never wrote that word before. Oh well, I digress. Today the boys stayed home with me. Coop and Jamie have been fighting allergy troubles, runny noses, cough the usual. So When Aussie woke up this morning and said he just didn't feel right I decided to give him the chance to stay home if he wanted to. Then Coop wouldn't wake up for the life of him so I finally gave up and let him sleep. When he woke at 10am he was asking if I was ready to bring him to school now. He was mildly disappointed that we missed school, but was excited when he found out that Aussie was staying home too. So my sweet boys and i had a mellow day together. It was a nice little off-beat kind of day.

We had a great visit with Queeny! We are already planning her next trp in June. She has alist of things she wants to do/see next time. So we will sight-see on her next visit. We stayed up late last night going through old family photos. It was neat because a lot of my childhood memories are from before she was born. It was just the boys and me for 12 years. Boy was I happy to have a sister!!!! So I got to tell her who certain people were in pics and tell her what i know and remember about our grandparents. Special time with my sis.

No big plans for mother's Day weekend. Every day is Mother's day around here...I am soo blessed! If anything exciting happens I'll let ya know! Hugs, kc
