Sunday Update

Well, My dad is doing really well. He is up walking a couple of times a day and getting a bit better every day. He has had NO complications at all, ,which is absolutely wonderful! He will probably be in the hospital until Wednesday.

The boys finished up VBS on Friday and we had a big picnic as a last day celebration. I got to talking to one of the pastors about a week long camp that they are affilliated with and Austen was very interested in. So, Austen is getting a scholarship to attend the sleep away camp in a couple of weeks. He is SO excited! I am excited for him, but he has never been away from us for that long. And I am a big weenie. He will be fine. I think he will love the sense of independence it will give him. I loved Church camp when I was a kid.

Today at church, the boys performed the songs they learned last week. Well, Austen performed, Coop got up there and acted like a nutball. He hit himself in the head and made crazy faces. Chris went and got him so he didn't make a mockery of the whole thing. It was kind of cute, though. He has just been a fireball of energy this week. I am hoping if he gets to sleep in it will help him to calm down.

Coop has his Gym class this week and I am volunteering a couple of nights, and am going out with a couple of girls I have met. Other than that it shoud be a pretty quiet week. Lots of pool time and less running around than we have been doing.
