Sick -n- puny

Hey y'all,

Well I had grand plans for this week with only 2 kiddoes, but they came to a halt when I got htis random sinus infection. I have had sinus issues before, haven't we all? But this time I got a horrendous head/face ache that I haven't ever experienced before. It felt like someone was jack hammering into my face. I went to the Dr. yesterday and asked if they would please drill a hole into my skull to release the pressure. The Doc. was really nice and gave me great meds to clear it up. I have never used nose spray before. She demonstrated the correct technique... did you know there is a special way to administer nose spray? You bend your head over (she called this "nose over toes" and then cross your hands. Close one nostril with one and spray with the other. It was actually an acrobatic exercise (smile). Reversing it was interesting. I never felt so awkward! But the nose spray an decongestant combo seems to be working. I think it has something to do with the nose over toes thing (smile). Now I just have a dull ache where it was excruciating before. And I am starting to feel better too.

We played outside for the afternoon, but that was the extent of my entertaining my munchkins today...bad mommy. I'll have to come up with something extra fun to do tomorrow to make up for it. Cooper is living the high life with only one brother to compete for attention with.

Chris has his first game at the stadium on Friday. I am so proud of him. He is working like crazy to get everything ready but has a great sense of peace and confidence about him. I know he is awesome at what he does. It is the perfect career for him. Everything will happen perfectly at the game under his watchful eye. And then I will have to share him for the rest of football season...we knew this was coming.
