Still Alive!!!

Yup... I'm still here, despite my lack of posting over the past week or so. It seems like it had been so busy. Where so I begin????

Oh- I picked Aussie up from camp last Saturday and it was the most beautiful morning for a 3+ hour drive. The sun was out, but it was crisp and cool. The camp was absolutely beautiful! I spotted my boy right away and he showed me around a bit before we headed on home. He was DYING for a big ole'Coke sowe drove thru Mc Donalds and caffeinated him (smile). He talked non stopabout all the fun he had on our drive. I am so glad and grateful for that experience for him. And I was mostly glad to have him back home with us. My baby!!!

This past week was pretty low key for the most part. We had to get school supplies and had "Meet the teacher" at Aussie's school. Nothing too unusual, except that we found out we were victims of Bank fraud! Holy Big Deal!!!!!

Some shady company got our account number and drained our bank account. We were out thousands of dollars. So I spent at least 4 hours of each day this week on the phone with the incompetant people from our bank. They have kindly refunded most of the money and we should receive the rest early this week. But it has been a huge pain in the rear. I could go on and on with all the details, but I am frankly sick of the whole ordeal. We are switching banks. Opened a new account and we're just waiting for new bankcards and all to completely switch over.

Tomorrow is the first day of school. Fourth Grade for my big boy! Coop starts in a coupleof weeks. He is so ready to get back to preschool...and frankly I am looking forward to it too. He needs more entertainment than I can provide sometimes. Good luck to all my teacher friends this week. Especially Kelly and Tina! First year teachers...long time friends. Hugs, kc
