Well, we have always called him by that name and recently he has earned it well. For starters, let's discuss bad words. In my house there are rules about the "bad"words. You have to be 25 to decide if you want to say them. Anybody under 25 may not ever say these words. See if you can get what they are....
The 'sh' word
The 's'word
The 'f' word
The 'b' word
The 'd' word
They are, in respective order... 'shut up', 'stupid', 'fart', 'butt, and 'dumb'
I know, these are just ugly words, not necessarily cuss words..but anyway, the reason I am sharing the bad words (25 year old words) is that Cooper actually swore the other day. He used the real 'f' word...THEREAL one in a snetence. He was upset about something and said..."F'ing stars!" I about had a heart attack. When I looked at him on horror Cooper informed me "Don't worry Mommmy, it's just a new word I know". I calmly explained to him that I had never heard that word before and since he used it out of anger, it must be a bad word and I never want to hear it repeated. Coop just smiled and said, "okay". Oh mY!!!!!
Today Coop and I were in a store with one of those emergency doors that have a big sign saying, "Do not open door. Alarm will sound." Yes, you know what is coming next...Big loud sirens and angry looking store people. I didn't have to disciplione much over that one. The sirens and shock of it all was enough for him to know he is never going to open a door without permission again (smile).
So Cooper Jay Trouble is at it again. These past couple of weeks have been wild. If I say walk right he runs left. I keep repeating the words of my mother..."this stage will pass". And I know it will, but why does this particular stage have to keep returning????? (smile)
Austen didn't have school today so we had fun while Cooper was at preschool. He is writing a big paper for school and is all kinds of excited about it. We have been bonding over The Boston Tea Party. My sweet brainiac! Oh- speaking of brainiac...Austen was chosen/invited to be a part of a program run by John Hopkins University for Gifted and Talented kids. It is a really cool oportunity as far as I can tell. I am still getting familiar with what is involved.
Jamie Pie is just his usual sweet self. He can now get down the stairs on his own so he loves to torment his big brothers downstairs. He has fallen in love with Barney and all of the songs. He can act out the fingerplays and all...I love this age !
Hope everybody had a super start to their week today. I'll post again soon. Trying not to be such a blogger slacker. XOXOXO

Cooper Jay Trouble! Still perfect to me! I wish I would have been there today when he set off those alarms!! How funny it will be to tell later!! And yes Austen is soo smart and we knew that when he was 2 hours old! I can't wait to come visit!! I love and miss you guys soooo much!!
As Bea has always said childhood is just one disgusting stage after another. But in the blink of an eye they will all be past any of the stages and you will have all of the wonderful memories of each one and the personalities that they each have that make them such fantastic kids. Cooper makes us laugh, I can just see his wild eyed look when the alarm went off. Austen just amazes us and always has, and Jamie is just adorable and he makes you want to eat him up. Can't hardly wait to see you all. Just a few more weeks and I can get them in my arms.
Love, Mimi
