Sorry for being such a slacker lately. Things have been busy getting back into post holiday routine. We only had one car for about a month and a half so I was stranded here A Lot! Now that Chris has a new car, I am enjoying the freedom of getting out and about with my guys more. The other thingg that I have been doing is reading...lots of reading! I swear I have read more books in the past month than in the past two years put together. I have two really good recommendations. One is "Good Night Noone" by Jennifer Weiner. The other is "Tell No One" by Harlin Cobin. The second book was a recommendation from Carla and she had it sent to me via Barnes and Noble.com...Oh my stars!!!! Such an awesome book. I couldn't put it down and finished it in one day. I was oing to cook a yummy dinner last night, but was so into the book, that I called in chinese food. Bad Mommy, I know (smile).
I had eluded to the possibility of a big change this year, but it isn't going to happen after all. There was a possibility of us being transferred to Indianapolis in the early Spring. That isn't meant to be apparently, so we have renewed our lease here and are looking forward to another East Coast year. At least now I know what to plan for. We decided to enroll Coop in the Pre Kindergarten at his preschool for next year instead of doing Kindergarten at the Elemantary School. He will have an extra year to be ready for all that. And Jamie is going to start preschool at Cooper's school next year too. He will be in the toddler/two yr. old program two mornings a week. I can't believe that he is big enough for Nursery School. My baby!
Two new clubs for Austen have started since he returned to school from winter break. He is on the Science Olympiad team and the Math Club. He is loving them!
I owe yall some pictures and will get on that as soon as I can. For now I have to get in the kitchen and get cookin' a tater tot casserole for dinner. Just wanted to check in and say, Hey! Happy Wednesday!

I am so glad you enjoyed the book, I hope you enjoy the others as much. Did Austen cook the dinner with the receipes. what did he think about them. Hate to hear about the IN. not working out, we will just need to make more trips.
Love, Carla
Hi Kaycee! I must comment about Harlan Coben....he is one of my favorite authors! Danny got me hooked on his Myron Bolitar series.....Myron was a b-ball player drafted by the Celtics, but blew out his knee before the start of the season, so now he is a sports agent. He has a side kick named Win and a partner named Esperanza....they are the best! Hard to put down, but worth it! Yes, I used to feel like a bad mother, too....you will find a balance eventually. :o) Let me know if you want me to send some of our paperbacks to you.
Miss you, love you! Jan
