Yaaay Austen~!!

Austen had his Science Olympiad Competition yesterday. The whole district competed including Charter Schools and home schools. Austen competed in 4 events: measurement, structures, food webs, and number puzzles. He and his partner won FIRST PLACE in two of the events, number puzzles and food webs. We are so proud of him!!!!The pictures are of him and the rest of the kids from his school and Austen and his best buddy, Nabeel. They were partners in all of the events except one.

Also, we found out yesterday that Austen was chosen from his MAth Club to compete in the State Numbers Bee next week. He was so worried that he would not be selected, as only one kid per grade is chosen along with an alternate. He is overjoyed to get to compete in such a big event. He has worked really hard with both the Math Club and Science Olympiad Team this year. I am so proudof my little braniac!

We are so excited and so very proud of Austen. We have know since he very small that he would succeed in everything he attempts. Tell him to set his sights high and to reach for the sky, it is alway within his power to accomplish anything. Give them all a great big kiss and hug from me.
Love you all, Mimi
