My dad made it through the heart cathederization (sp?) with flying colors. The doc. was able to identify the blockages and is sending my dad to another surgeon to decide how to procede from here. Phew! I have been a nervous wreck waiting here all day to hear. Kip, Ted and Courtney were all with Mom and Dad at the hospital. I am sure they are not used to that many people being with a patient, but that's just how our family does it (smile). I wish I could have been there too but I did get to talk to my dad last night. So all in all, we are thankful that today is over and we now know what we are dealing with and what steps we need to take to have this problem corrected. My dad is A-OK!
Last night we had thunderstorms here. They were nothing compared to a Texas storm, but the news people here freaked out pretty much and we lost power...right in the middle of the Paris Hilton interview, yes, I was watching. As soon as the lights went out Cooper came running downstairs and Austen ran up from his room and we all decided to just sleep together on the couch. We were quite cozy. The lights came on at 1:30. Chris' flight home from Phoenix was cancelled when he got to Chicago so he didn't make it home until today. His boys were soo excited to see him. It was a race to the front door.
We are supposed to have more storms tonight so we will see how these go. I will have more candles ready this time and maybe it will be another slumber party night.

I am so thankful all went well for your dad. He has been in my thoughts and prayers all day.
Treasure each "slumber party" it won't be long before they are 34 and conforting their own children during storms. Chris was always my child that wanted to climb in my lap and cuddle, so I am thrilled for you that your boys are the same.
Love and kisses to all,
Carla
