So I think I actually honestly say I am enjoying living here. We have explored more, met people and this is a really great place to live. Wilmington is a really cool city with a lot of history and there are so many quaint little towns and cities close by. I think we are all comfortable with the idea of living here for a couple more years if we need to. It only took me 6 months and one day to get to this feeling of peace with the whole move. But really, we are all happy here. There are positive things going on for everyone. If only it weren't so dad gum expensive! (smile)
Our week has been somwhat eventful. My dad came home from the hospital on Tuesday and is recovering remarkably well. He sounds really good, today in particular.
Chris has a tooth that broke off and was causing him terrible pain so he got into the dentist and they fixed it, but they weren't able to completely numb his tooth. The dentist tod him that the left side of his face may be numb for 2 days, they shot him up w/so much novicaine, but they couldn't numb the tooth becasue it was infected. My poor baby! He is finally feeling a bit better today, but I felt bad leaving him ast night for my shift at Contact.
They just opened a Christmas Tree Shop up here! And it is right near a Target. The boys and I went and found it and had sooo much fun. I can't even tell you how happy I am to have those stores close (20 minutes) by. I even bought a Christmas present for somebody today. How is that for starting early?
We taught Cooper how to play Candy Land today. He is not exactly fair with game playing. I think he is a bit of a cheater peter pumpkin eater. We will have to work on that.
So I know we have been out doing lots more, but can't think now. I'll share more later. XOXO kc
