Happy Thursday! I finally have the First day of school picture to share with y'all. I couldn't find the cord to connect my camera with the computer...no wonder, It was in the toybox (smile).
The other picture is Austen holding a painting that he made in Art class last year. He won a medal, (which he is wearing) and they framed it for him.We hung it in the entryway so it is the first thing people see (other than the bright yellow walls) when they walkin the door. Apparently there was an art show this summer that it was entered in. I don't know why we didn't know about it. But He is sooo proud of his beautiful "abstract art".Notice Aussie's cool hair??? We bleached the tips this weekend which is his favorite cool look.Enjoy the pics and have a happy evening.Oh-- a note about the yellow entryway. My precious and thoughtful husband chose the way wrong color so we are going to paint over it very soon. Can't blame a good guy for trying.

I beleive we have an artist in the making. Let Austen know we are so proud of him. I sort of like the yellow walls, it looks very spring like, maybe you could take a little white and some glaze and just roll it over, it would lighten it up quite a bit. . give them all a kiss for me.
