I had great hopes to get all my guys to church this morning. I went to bed at a reasonable hour in hopes of making it to the early service and Sunday School. The boy's outfits were picked out and ready. But Jamie Pie had other plans...in the name of a fever. So our plans changed.
Anna was at the door at 9:15 wanting to play so she and Cooper have been playing ever since, Nabeel came over to play at noon. Austen is thrilled becasue they are in different classes this year and haven't gotten together much. All 4 of them just went down to the creek to explore. It is a gorgeous Sunday afternoon and these days I am grateful to be living in the northeast. Pike Creek, which is the area we live in, is a beautiful and family friendly place. I feel really comfortable with themm going exploring as long as I know where and have checked it out.
Jamie Pie is sleeping away his cold so I better get to some fun weekend cleaning. XOXOkc

How fun for your big boys to go exploring with buddies! Can't believe they are old enough to go off their own. :o)
I agree......this Northeast weather is glorious! We are so lucky! Danny & I played hooky on Friday and spent most of the day in Kennebunkport.....just the two of us. The Beach,salt air and my favorite guy.....what a day!
